We would like to greatly thank our guest and friend Greg Gilbert for his patronage and for taking the time to share this write up with us inspired by our service.
The first time he was in, he had no idea what his haircut experience would be like. He a haircut, shave and an express facial. He came with his "partner in crime": Kathy. So sweetly, she sat and observed everything and decided she couldn't leave without getting something done to her hair too!
Here's what he had to say:
"FLAIR
As a recent user of the Flair Private Salon, several things come to mind right away. The first of several remarkable thoughts is:
COMFORT
The proprietor Nay Farber goes out of her way to make sure that you are comfortable. This goes a long way to remove any anxiety about a new situation or a new experience. The salon is immaculate and well organized. Tasteful music is in the background and you don’t need to talk over the music or over and other cacophony. Simply comfortable. The other person there is Denis. She is a master of anything hair. In a later issue we will discuss style and color, curling and wish lists, hopes and dreams.
The two ladies not only did everything around me with ease but they conversed extensively about culture, life and exchanged jokes and laughter.
EDUCATIONAL
They will talk with you about your needs. I won’t use the word conditions. If you have dry hair that needs moisturizing, if you have dead stick straight hair that needs body or uplifting, if you have hair that gives new meaning to the word kinky, or if your hair follicles are challenged like mine and your hair is thin or thinning, they will educate you carefully to assure you that things get better. Let’s not say anything about straight up baldness. They can work with that too to enhance your comfort. Is there a pattern here? You bet.
PERSONAL and SUPPORTIVE
The personal approach is where they make you feel like you are indeed the most important person alive while you are in that chair. Hands down a first class priority. That is indeed the kind of support that makes us comfortable. It teaches us about what we need to learn and then lets us know that we have their complete and unfaltering support. There is a pattern here and I like it.
PERSPECTIVE
Should I mention that this is a male perspective?
